A day of activities provided by Moor Sheffield celebrating world food and culture with dance, music, storytelling, tastings and cookery demonstrations, this year focusing on sustainability, vegan and vegetarian food.

With tastings from different outlets on the Moor across the day and cookery demonstrations from nutritionist Hannah Wright.

Craft workshops include:
Rangoli Food Art – Experiment with Rangoli patterns to create edible food art to eat or display!
Decorative Jam Jars – Transform old jam jars into colourful hangings and lights to take home!
Flour Jewellery – Make beads from flour and water to create your very own food bracelets!
Creative Labels – Jazz up your home recycling by making your very own unique label designs!

Dance programme:
11.00 a.m. BM Myers: Disco/Street Dance – dance classes in lots of styles for all ages!
11.30 a.m. Sunrit Cultural Group: Kathak – Classical Indian Dance. Surit is a Sanskrit word which means a beautiful dance, pleasant and true. South Asian classical dance, music and drama
12.00 p.m. Boomshanka: Belly dance – colourful and energetic
12.30 p.m. Mulembas d’Africa: African Fusion – a marriage of traditional and contemporary dance styles with live musicians
1.00 p.m. Nish Lall Dance: Bollywood & Bhangra – sessions in cultural dance styles – Indian, Arabic & Latin
1.30 p.m. Excel Dance: Street Dance
2.00 p.m. Son de America: Mexican Folk
2.30 p.m. Nycha Dance: Contemporary/Street Dance
3.00 p.m. Flamenco in Sheffield: Flamenco
3.30 p.m. Zubaidah: Belly Dance – traditional, tribal and gothic fusion belly dancing
