Ros Ayres from Nibbly Pig tells us about her favourite new places to eat and drink in Sheffield.

Inc Sheffield

Inc Sheffield rooftop bar

Inc Sheffield rooftop bar

Inc is one of Sheffield’s first rooftop bars and can be found at the Krynkl development, Kelham Island. You will be able to find the building as it’s made from upcycled shipping containers. It is partly covered so you can enjoy the sunshine or cosy up by the fire with your favourite cocktail, beer or glass of wine, whilst enjoying the music vibes.

Inc is part of The Milestone group and their new restaurant Joro is located on the ground floor in same block. An evening combining the two could be the perfect pampering night out!

Opening hours: Thursday and Friday 4pm – 12am. Saturday 12pm – 12am.

Brood cafe bar @ The Roco

Brood's new charcuterie board

Brood’s new charcuterie board

Brood is part of the creative co-op The Roco on Glossop Road where you can enjoy top-notch food and drink together with a chilled-out ambiance. You can take time out with their Saturday brunch, enjoy a dish from the weekday lunch menu, like salt-baked beetroot and blood orange salad with shaved fennel, capers, rye bread croutons and pistachio-crusted goat cheese!

The bread and cakes are made in-house, the sumptuous choux choux (spotted on Twitter) look mighty fine with flavours from chocolate & hazelnut topped with honeycomb and lemon & blueberry.

On Thursdays to Saturdays (3pm-10pm) they’ve just started their charcuterie and cheese sharing board menu. You can graze on homemade bread, pickles and quality spreads such as spiced bresaola-style Welsh beef, fennel salami, Cornish Yarg and Stinking Bishop.

Now the spring sunshine is on the way, enjoy your food alfresco and catch some rays on their terrace.
