What’s a festival without a Main Stage? This year featuring a cracking line-up of local talent, the Mad Dog Stage will be the centre in our festival site. This year featuring the talents of these amazing artists:

Geoff Ticehurst has been DJing in Sheffield for a very, very long time. A residency at Tuesday Club back in the early 2000’s, followed by spots at Remedy, Urban Gorilla and Plug – he’s spun alongside worldwide talent and played every genre you can think of at some point or another. 

Just Alfie

The UK’s finest noise polluters. Alfie writes songs for those who have been through some things and he performs to those who like to turn their phone on DND. 

Caroline & The Lights

Caroline & The Lights is unapologetically melodramatic with her goosebump-inducing vocals, beautiful soaring melodies, and dynamic bold instrumentation. As a woman who has been diagnosed with Endometriosis and having struggled with her own mental health, Caroline strives to use her platform and her music as a way to reach out and speak out for those who aren’t being heard, particularly focusing on mental health, ableism, and body positivity.

Georgie Mills

Georgie has been singing since the age of 7. Now 17 she has won 2 National Entertainment Awards and was honoured to sing at the 10th Anniversary Ceremony. Last summer, Georgie opened BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend. She was also invited on to the red sofas of BBC Breakfast and filmed Saturday Mashup Live in Glasgow, winning best Live performance of the series.

Charlotte Branson

Charlotte Branson is a soulful English Singer/Songwriter who’s music and lyrics offer her interpretation of heartbreak, insecurities, lust, love and real life experiences. Each song offers an edgy, deep and, at times, sexy feel. Her influences include artists like Amy Winehouse, Lana Del Rey and Aretha Franklin. 

Alfie Darlin

After thousands of solo shows, Alfie Darlin is proud to be launching the full band. Backed by legendary musicians, such as Russ Dennett from The Human League, playing a style of music that can best be described as True Grit. Something new with an old school feel that’s best heard live. Songs that no one has heard before, that will seem familiar to those who have survived hard times.

Having honed his skills in the world of turntablism, Andy H applies his unique style of DJing to dancefloor bass-music while still remaining true to his Hip Hop roots. As a UK DMC and Red Bull 3Style finalist he champions the art of real DJing and channels that energy into every performance, kick starting any dance-floor. 

Connor Berry

Connor Berry is an 18 year old singer / performer who taking inspiration from 50s/60s Rock n Roll artists such as Elvis Presley and The Beatles. The Chesterfield teenager combines the raw vocals of the blues with indie rock guitar playing, creating a distinctive sound like no other. 

Hot Soles

Delivering copious amounts of rare groove and phat riffs, Hot Soles is an entity greater than the sum of its component parts. Agents of Rhythm and slaves to the back beat, they perform their blues-rock fusion, as if at the next micro-second, a cataclysmic event will take place, exploding every atom at the speed of light, deleting life as we know it. 

Matic Mouth

Hailing from Sheffield U.K., Matic Mouth is an MC/Rapper who was recently part of Hip- Hop collective Clubs & Spades, who upon their first release achieved the ‘Record of The Week’ position on Charlie Sloths BBC Radio 1 Rap Show with their single ‘Clearer Coast Ft Tom Prior’.

April-Ess

With over 50 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, 23 year old multi-genre vocalist, DJ and busker, April-Ess is one to watch. Fresh from Tramlines 2022, Sheffield-based April-Ess is a rising voice in the Sheffield music scene, having worked with Bassline producer Phatworld, releasing on Off Me Nut records, such as ‘One Hundred’ and ‘Hurtin’ me’.

Yorkshire Tea Guy
“I’m a lad from Yorkshire and I love my Yorkshire Tea!” It all started one Christmas morning with a 3 stringed guitar made by Spatchcock & Wurzil from a dining chair leg and a vintage Yorkshire Tea caddy. The best Christmas present a tea loving musician could hope for! I call it the ‘Teatar!’ A video clip of me playing it was sent to Yorkshire Tea who invited me up to Taylors of Harrogate. I ended up doing a gig in their offices and they invited me to be in their next TV Advert ‘Brewtopia’. That’s where the jacket came from… on set! They let me keep it. The rest as they say is history! So please come and say hi , you’ll see me around the festival over the weekend.
