Join Sheffield award-winning independent retailers Hop Hideout (Abbeydale Road) and Urban Pantry (Crookes) for a beer and cheese pairing session in the final celebration of Sheffield Food Festival.

Beer and cheese are the ultimate partners offering a multitude of delicious combinations to please the taste-buds. Jules (Hop Hideout) and Reece (Urban Pantry) will share a number of winning combinations covering a myriad of styles. Think cave aged Cheddar with a big citrus kick of an India Pale Ale. They’ll also highlight an additional beer and snack pairing showcasing producer Barmies, who bake beer snacks using brewer’s barm and Welbeck Abbey Brewery, the brewery who supplied the barm!

About Hop Hideout: Established in 2013, Hop Hideout is nestled within the vibrant Antiques Quarter area of Sheffield. An independent national award-winning business run by partners Jules and Will, they aim to showcase local breweries from Yorkshire and beyond. The bar features over 450 beers and ciders, including quality picks from Denmark and the US. Hop Hideout boasts five keg taps, a garden area and a tasting room. The venue can also be hired for private parties. With regular meet the brewer evenings, a monthly home brew club and hosts of Sheffield’s Mikkeller Running Club chapter – it’s a social hub with a community ethos.
