SFF 2017: Family fun!
Peace Gardens – Pinstone Street – Sheffield – S1 2HH
It’s essential to keep those little ones entertained so that you can enjoy a day of total food indulgence, so the team gave careful thought to providing activities to keep little hands and minds occupied. At the centre of this, as always, was the fabulous pop-up farmyard in Millenium Square provided by Whirlow Hall Farm, with chance to meet some feathered and woolly friends, investigate the enclosed beehive, have your photo taken on the tractor and enjoy some storytelling in the trailer. Each day at 10am in the Theatre Kitchen Marquee, there was a hands on kids workshop – come and make pitta pizzas with the Wellbeing Cafe (Sat), tacos with the Street Food Chef (Sun) or bake with Free Cakes for Kids (Mon). There were more activities taking place in the Winter Gardens between 11am and 3pm every day courtesy of Ignite Imaginations, Regather, the British Science Association, Heeley City Farm and Free Cakes for Kids.
And it’s ALL free!
