Indie-Go Resurrection & Maddog Stage, Peace Gardens

Community is central to everything we do at Sheffield Food Festival. As one of the only remaining free to enter Food Festivals and with this year’s festival taking place on a Bank Holiday weekend, we decided to launch our own Special Events for the evening time! These events are all free to attend AND give you the chance to win amazing prizes!

Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult to take part in activities.

Special Events (All events start at 6pm)

Friday 26th May - FAMILY FRIENDLY DRAG BINGO
Combining the classic game of bingo with the flamboyant performance of drag, this event promises to be a hilarious evening of entertainment! Hosted by Sheffield’s own, Emma Maezin and featuring:

– Engaging, interactive performances
– Games
– Songs
– A-Maezin Prizes, like tickets to THE GREAT ESCAPE GAME in Sheffield!

Best of all – it’s free! Grab yourself a drink and dinner with our traders, sit back, and get ready for a rip-roaring Friday night of entertainment.

 

Emma Maezin is Sheffield’s very own upcoming drag sensation with a passion for partying. Expect live vocals, high energy hits and shenanigans and an amazing night where this queen goes.
Saturday 27th May - SATURDAY NIGHT DISCO
What better way to celebrate a Saturday night Bank Holiday weekend than by getting down and dancing to iconic tunes! Join Hannah Fay and Chris Q as they start your weekend right. This event will feature:
– Iconic tunes and dances
– Live soulful vocals
– Best Dressed competition
Best of all – it’s free! Grab yourself dinner and a drink with our traders and start your night right!
Sunday 28th May - STEEL CITY QUIZ NIGHT

Compete for prizes, have some fun, and show off your Sheffield knowledge at the Steel City Quiz Night! Bring your friends and your brain power for an unforgettable night of quizzing.

No. Just like our daytime festival offer, all events are free to attend.

Do we have to stay for the whole event?
No, you can leave at any time (though we encourage you to stay if you want to win the prizes!)

What safety precautions are in place?
